MORNING PRAYER TO START YOUR DAY: FATHER, BEHOLD ME IN YOUR MERCY

 



Morning Prayer: Father, Behold Me in Your Mercy and Power

 

Heavenly Father,

As the dawn breaks and the new day opens before me,

 I bow my heart in humility and lift my voice in faith to say:

Father, behold me in Your mercy and power.

For without Your mercy, I would still be bound by sin and shame,

 and without Your power, I would be helpless before the storms of life.

 But in Your mercy, I am forgiven and restored, and in Your power,

I am shielded, strengthened, and set on high.

 

Lord, I do not come before You by my own works or righteousness,

 for Your Word declares: All our righteousness are as filthy rags.

I come clothed in the righteousness of Christ Jesus,

 who redeemed me with His blood.

 Father, when You look upon me this morning,

let Your eyes see me through the covenant of the cross.

Let Your gaze be softened by mercy,

and let Your hand be stretched out in power.


 Father, behold me in Your mercy.

 Your Word says, It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed,

because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.

Today, I receive fresh mercy from Your throne.

 Let the mercy that forgave David after his fall,

that raised Peter after his denial, that covered the thief on the cross,

let that same mercy overshadow me.

Guide me by Your Spirit. Empower me to live in obedience. 

Strengthen me to resist temptation. Grant me courage to stand for righteousness. 

Let my life today be a reflection of Your love and a testimony of Your power.

 

Behold me in my weakness and clothe me in Your strength.

 Behold me in my hunger and fill me with Your righteousness.

 Behold me in my desire and grant me more of You.

 

Today, I walk in mercy.

Today, I walk in power.

Today, I will not fail.

Today, I will not fall.

Today, I will not be defeated.

Today, I will shine brighter than yesterday.

Today, I will fulfil purpose.

Today, I will manifest glory.

Today, heaven’s favour will follow me.

Today, God’s hand will uphold me.

 

Closing Prayer Of Thanksgiving

Thank You, Father, for hearing me this morning.

Thank You for beholding me in mercy that forgives,

restores, and renews. Thank You for beholding me in power that protects,

strengthens, and uplifts. As I rise into this day,

 I declare that I am not ordinary,

 I am covered, chosen, anointed, and empowered.

 

Father, behold me in Your mercy and power.

 Let this be my portion today, tomorrow, and forevermore.

 In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray Amen.
